Our trained and qualified staff stays abreast of the latest in wetland identification and delineation training. Section 404 of the federal Clean Water Act (CWA) requires such training.
The Army Corps of Engineers regulates wetland impact and mitigation. Specifically, Section 404 of the CWA requires those impacting wetlands to seek and obtain permits from the Corps of Engineers. ALWI supports its permit applicant clients who need to identify the location and extent of wetlands. We accomplish this by determining if impacts will occur and whether mitigation is needed.
We perform both preliminary assessments and advanced wetland delineations. Preliminary assessments inexpensively evaluate whether wetland constraints exist. Advanced delineations support agency permits.
When assessments occur early in land development process, more options exist to increase land use and lessen expense.
