Based on our track record in coordinating successful public outreach efforts for many major water supply, discharge and wellhead protection projects, ALWI is well versed in successful public relations and outreach efforts involving large community groups. Over the years, we have designed and led many projects with substantive and detailed public participation components. Our President’s past service as a state water resources regulator further qualifies us as expert in addressing public relation and outreach needs as applicable to the sea level rise project planned.
Unless client confidentiality requirements impose other requirements, we often work transparently and with programmed public involvement to achieve proactive public participation and stakeholder involvement. In part due to these implications for land valuation, stakeholder coordination is a central component of many successful ALWI evaluations and projects. Pro-active, consensus building measures solicit cooperation from a wide-ranging group of stakeholders, and support long-range project successes. Form letters, project web sites, public presentations and email are typically the means through which third party contacts are made and recorded for the benefit of successful and efficient project completion.
