ALWI is pleased to announce that Ms. Amy Martinez, Staff Scientist, has been licensed by the Maryland Department of Agriculture as a Certified Nutrient Management Consultant. This certification exemplifies Ms. Martinez’s continued excellence in managing ALWI Groundwater Discharge, Soil Suitability And Land Treatment evaluation and permitting services.
Also, Ms. Kayse R. Fisher has accepted a permanent position as a Staff Hydrogeologist, beginning in January 2005. Ms. Fisher holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh, recently completed an ALWI Summer Internship as a Source Water Assessment Specialist, and now is completing her Master’s in Geology at West Virginia University. She will support ALWI’s groundwater supply development and protection projects, as well as our clientele’s growing demand for Geographic Information Systems expertise.
