With pleasure we announce that Ms. Jamie S. Harris has joined the firm as a Staff Scientist. Ms. Harris is completing her M.S. in Water Resources Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and previously was employed by the Southern Nevada Water Authority as a Field Hydrology Specialist. She supports ALWI’s Surface and Groundwater Supply Development and protection projects, as well as our clientele’s growing demand for groundwater discharge expertise.

Advanced Land and Water, Inc. (ALWI) is pleased to announce the continued growth of our professional practice involving the Land Treatment of Wastewater.
With Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) mandating ever-tighter surface water discharge limitations in the Chesapeake Bay watershed, Mr. Daniel Smith, R.S. and Ms. Amy Martinez, R.S. spearhead ALWI Land Treatment Solutions to TMDL project constraints.
External recognition of the excellence of Ms. Martinez’ land treatment and soils evaluation expertise is evidenced by her recent Maryland licensure as a Registered Environmental Sanitarian. In 2005 she was similarly licensed by Pennsylvania as a Sewage Enforcement Officer.
