Ms. Sarah Wood, Staff Scientist and GIS Analyst, possesses a strong technical background in environmental geology and hydrogeology. Ms. Wood also is adept in the application of GIS as a mapping and analytical tool. Her academic research focused on field mapping and geophysical data collection.
Ms. Wood’s foremost area of professional concentration has been in GIS support and data collection for water supply assessment and development and groundwater monitoring projects. Ms. Wood is accomplished in collecting and digitizing data, and producing maps that efficiently display the data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including proficiency in the use of ArcGIS including ArcView’s ArcMap and ArcCatalog.
Other technical duties include hydrogeologic field support and computer-aided analyses. To date, her experience includes fracture trace analysis, slug testing, water sampling, data collection and report preparation.
